I'm going to be depressed for weeks...

Poppy is very sick...
A tumour seems to be forming in his abdomen...
It got so big during the last 2 days that he couldn't eat/pee/poo...
Its blocking up his whole back end...
I had to being him to the vet ytd because it was an emergency...
He was wetting himself but could not pee as and when he liked...
I spoke to the vet who was very helpful...
She told me of all teh possibilities...
that it might not be cancer,
that it might be and what I should do,
how should we go about treating him,
do we send him to a Hospital for ultrasound and biopsy to figure out the cause?
if its cancer then there'll probably no cure at all...
or do we put him to sleep now...

This is why I'm depressed...
he's really a very good boy...
I hate when things have to turn out this way...
I'll never get a dog because I'll just probably die of a broken heart...
I'm so tired now...
My heart is broken already...
so tragic...

Food Reviews.

MOF is a jap/fusion food outlet at Bugis Junction Level 2.
The service is not too great to begin with...
Most of their service staff are too busy talking to one another to notice our flailing hands...
and if the green tea is free flow, they aren't taking enough initiative on refilling it.
Their food is not awfully tasty nor is it awful.
Portions could be bigger though, so if you're a big eater... try to avoid...
The Price is acceptable... $20 plus dollars for A Tenzaru Soba Meal.

which brings me to why I am putting this post.
because the other day we (Denise, Benne, Bobbyson and I) were discussing the saddest movie ever.
they said it was Jap movie 1 litre of tears.
I said it was some korean movie which i couldnt remember the name.
then today I decided to find the movie from wiki.
after searching for about 1/2 hour i found it!

The first segment of the film, staged in romantic comedy style, introduces the protagonists, a woman named Su Jin and a man named Chul Soo. The movie highlights their accidental meeting in a convenience store and confusion over a can of soda, followed by their subsequent courting despite the social standings that should have kept them apart.

The second segment follows the couple now settling into married life. Su-Jin learns to be a housewife as her husband cares for her. But as the segment progresses, Su-jin begins to display forgetfulness, including an incident in which a fire breaks out because of a forgotten stove. While Chul Soo caught the fire in time, the seriousness of the incident and others draw them to seek medical help.

The third segment involves the revelation of Alzheimer's disease and the couple's consequent response to it. Su Jin is heavily burdened by the knowledge that she will forget her husband and hides it from him at first until he seeks advice from the doctor himself. Despite the disease, they make the commitment to stay together and as the disease progresses, the trials the couple go through increase because of Su Jin's forgetfulness.

The fourth segment reveals Su-jin in the final stages of the disease and the grief Chul Soo experiences because of it. Yet he remains beside her, despite her lost memory, hiding his eyes behind sunglasses when he visits her so she can't see his tears.
The end of the movie finishes off with Chul Soo replaying the first time they met in the convenience store with all her friends and family in the store. Chul Soo takes her back to the retirement home as they are driving off he finally tells her he loves her.

Sitting opposite me is Andy "my buddy" Cheng (my mentor really... an old beng as he calls himself... easy going guy...) next to Andy is Hassan (planner)... Sharing my cubicle is Melvin from Import... On my left is Eric Low who i don't talk to coz he looks fierce...

My office is on the first floor... which is kinda cool... but the LORRY AND CARS THAT PASS BY THE BACK ALLEY CAN BE REALLY NOISY... but other than that... its ok...

Other than my own work... I will evantually have to handle work from the DG desk if the DGman (I'll have to get his name... Can't remember so many names) goes on leave... But it will all come with time...

Andy is going on leave end of this month... which means that I will have to handle all the work alone for about a week... -Faints- Hopefully everything will go smoothly...
